FBCC Student Ministry

7th - 12th Grade

If you spend any time around our church at all, you'll quickly learn one thing: we love students. They're smart. They're funny. They're bold. And they're bursting with potential. We truly believe that the middle and high school students in our midst are world changers in the making.

That's why student ministry is such a huge part of what we do at our church. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story He's writing with their lives. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives.

Here's where you can find us each week...

Sunday morning bible study

Sundays at 9:15 am. This time is to lead students in knowing Jesus through God’s Word. We meet every Sunday morning in the Student Ministry Room to hang with friends and grab a cup of coffee before breaking into small groups. This is one of the most growing times for our students in the Word of God.

strand discipleship groups

Sundays at 4:00 - 6:00 pm we meet in the Student Room on Sunday nights to dig deeper in what it means to be a disciple. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and Acts 2:42-47 tell the heart of what STRAND is all about. As we break off into small groups each week, we devote ourselves to encouraging each other in the Word, praying for one another, and reaching the lost. We invite our students to bring a snack or 2-liter to share. We look forward to having you!

Wednesday night student worship

Wednesdays at 6:30 - 8:00 pm. This is a great place for students to come and build relationships with one another, but most importantly with Jesus Christ. Students lift high the name of Jesus through music and time together in the Word of God. Students leave here challenged to follow Jesus with their lives and to be a part of making disciples of all nations.
