  • The Lake Cities Spirit of Christmas organization has been actively involved in providing Christmas to the economic disadvantaged children within our community for over 30 years. These children are part of families that live, work, or worship within the Lake Cities area and have an income at or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines. We are 100% volunteer organization taking care of underprivileged children during the holiday season.   

  • The Lake Cities Community Food Pantry is a community ministry of Lake cities United Methodist Church.  You can donate canned food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and baby supplies and disposable diapers. 

  • Providing a Place of Escape for Sexually Exploited Women.  Refuge for Women is a 3-phase program that lasts up to 12 months. A safe place has been created for residents to experience healing with few distractions. The key aspects of the Refuge for Women program are sobriety, healing from trauma, and rebuilding trust. You can get involved by donating to this organization or volunteering!  See their website for more information!

  • Woman to Woman Pregnancy Resource Center is  a free pregnancy clinic in Denton, TX.  They  understand that each woman’s circumstance is unique, and want to provide you with help specific to your needs. One way to help the Resource Center is by shopping at and/or donating to Twice as Nice Resale shop!

  • Denton Baptist Association is a network of diverse, autonomous churches working together to plant new churches, equip and nurture one another, and engage in cooperative ministries for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission.
